Pelatihan Penggunaan Digitalisasi dalam Pembelajaran Kitab Pesantren di Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Babussalam Jombang

Abstract

This study aims to improve the digital competence of teachers in teaching the yellow books at the Babussalam Islamic Boarding School Foundation in Jombang through a digitalization training program. The background of this activity is based on the challenges of the digital era that require Islamic boarding schools to adapt without abandoning Salafiyah values. The training method uses a theoretical and practical approach, including interactive lectures, discussions, simulations, and direct practice using digital media such as Maktabah Syamilah, classical Arabic text conversion, and the creation of technology-based learning media. The activity was carried out for one month with 20 ustadz participants from various educational levels. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the ability of teachers to operate digital devices and utilize online platforms to support the learning of the yellow books. In addition, new theoretical concepts such as "Digital Bandongan", "TPACK Integration in Teaching the Book", and "Hybrid Pesantren Learning" emerged, reflecting the combination of traditional methods and digital innovation. This program has proven effective in bridging the digital divide in the Islamic boarding school environment, strengthening teacher professionalism, and increasing the relevance of yellow book learning to the needs of the digital generation. Thus, digitizing the learning of Islamic texts is a strategic step in modernizing Islamic education without losing its traditional roots.
