Pendampingan Strategi Guru dalam Mewujudkan Merdeka Belajar Baca dan Tulis Siswa Melalui Proyek Literasi

Abstract

Proyek literacy is learning activity that directs students to produce works in the form of writing. This Community Service program was conducted to improve teachers' capacity in implementing literacy proyeks as an effort to realize independent learning to read and write in elementary schools. Some of the techniques used by teachers included preparation of learning activities, interpersonal communication approaches, group member selection, and learning mentoring. Implementation methods included training, developing literacy tools, practical demonstrations, and intensive mentoring during the learning process. The program targeted classroom teachers at SDIT Ar-Rahman, with the aim of strengthening their ability to use learning strategies such as activity planning, interpersonal communication, study group management, and mentoring students in the reading and writing process. Data on the Community Service program implementation was collected through activity observations, teacher interviews, documentation, and pre- and post-activity evaluations. The program results showed an increase in teachers' ability to apply procedural and process strategies to literacy proyeks. Furthermore, teachers were able to create a more independent, enjoyable, and non-pressuring learning environment for students. This program has positive implications in the form of increased learning effectiveness, teacher readiness in managing literacy proyeks, and increased support for the realization of a culture of literacy in schools.
